Brittney Spears honored with 2011 VMA Tribute
The 29-year-old pop princess was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and viewed a dance tribute to her most famous songs including “Baby One More Time,” “Oops!… I Did it Again,” “Crazy,” “Toxic,” “Do Somethin’,” and “Hold it Against Me.”
While introducing her, Lady Gaga, said, “She taught us all how to be fearless, and the industry wouldn’t be the same without her.”
Im happy for her! she deserves it!

Video -Swizz Beats & Chris Brown Performing 'Dance Like a White Girl
Swizz Beatz was spotted on the Vegas scene last night, along with Chris Brown for the Rebook Classic’s PROJECT kick off concert. The event held at the Moorea Beach Club in the Mandalay Bay Hotel, was attended by 500 friends. They performed ‘Dance Like A White Girl’

Put the rumors to rest. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are not getting a divorce. The Hollywood power couple released a statement denying the erroneous reports.
The Internet was buzzing after In Touch Weekly cited an unnamed source who claimed that the Smiths had separated after 13 years of marriage. A rep for the couple released a statement shutting down the rumors.
“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We are still together, and our marriage is intact.”
Will’s son Trey even took to Twitter to address the gossip. “Did #WillandJada split? No they did NOT split! False information … its not true RETWEET!!!” he wrote. “Everyone can think what they want … even if its not true.”

Respect Magazine says "Watch The Throne" is Most Important Album In Hip Hop History!?
Jay-z and Kanye’s ‘Watch The Throne’ Album is the most important album in Hip Hop history according to Elliot Wilson and the guys over at Respect Magazine. I wouldn’t say that the publication has an invalid argument but it will be interesting to see what ‘proof’ they are serving up when it hits newsstands next month.
Giving credit where credit is due, not only did Janye show fellow artists how to prevent bootlegging of their material in a world of piracy, but they produced a product that transcended across cultural borders. For a Hip Hop album to be #1 in 23 countries and currently the only Hip Hop album charting above the #20 spot in the US says a lot about where Hip Hop stands in the current state of music. At one point Hip Hop dominated the charts, however, years later it was hard to get a hit without a catchy beat and a simple dance to go along with it.

TREY SONGZ ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM TITLE
Trey Songz has announced a title for his fifth album.
“I’m working on a new album entitled Chapter 5,” Songz told Glamazons of the follow-up to last year’s Passion, Pain & Pleasure.
The singer’s publicist confirmed the title to Rap-Up.com. But despite initial plans for a 2011 release, the project is now slated to arrive next year.
He hopes to get inspiration from his upcoming trip to Africa. “I’m going to South Africa and I’m elated about it,” he added. “I’m taking my mother and family. That trip will be very instrumental in what this next album will be.”
He is now working on his acting career. He will star in the horror flick The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D and continuing as the face of Rocawear but for a new men’s fragrance Evolution.
