Teena Marie was found dead in her Los Angeles home of an apparent grand mal seizure. She was 54 years old.

A seizure, according to the University of Michigan Health System, is an episode of abnormal electrical activity in the brain. A common seizure type is a grand mal seizure. It causes loss of consciousness, jerking or twitching of all four limbs, sometimes injury to the tongue or mouth, and sometimes urinary incontinence. Additional symptoms may include a pause in breathing and confusion and weakness following the event.

Hangover 2

They are in process of filming the sequel to one of the funniest movie ever mad but,a serious accident has reportedly landed a stuntman on the set of 'The Hangover 2' in a coma. The Daily Telegraph reports that stunt driver Scott McLean, who in 2007 described himself as close to Australia's top 10 stunt drivers, was involved in an accident on Dec. 17.

The Telegraph says two cars traveling at high speeds crashed into each other in Bangkok as part of the stunt, leaving McLean with serious injuries.

The singer, who turns 32 on Tuesday (December 28), told New York Magazine that he had a hard time finding the right place.

“Most of the places you look at are cookie-cutter boxes. They don’t have any cool shapes,” John said. “When I was drawing up my ideal thing in my head, it was a unique space in a newer building, with lots of light.”

I could see myself bicycling with my baguettes and the whole thing. But I talked it over with my friends, and they all said, ‘You’re not going to be happy doing nothing.’ ”

On what she perceive as a failure: “What will be a failure is if nobody comes and watches this network. What others will perceive as failure is if some shows don’t succeed. I’m concerned about the bigger overall picture: my belief that people are basically good and want to see the good in them reflected through their experiences and the shows that they watch. This is a gamble I’m taking. I believe that the banal state of television, the kind of insipid space that we’re in–that you can have as many channels as we have and not find anything that really interests you–means that to a great extent we’ve lost our way.”

On President Obama: “I think that no one understands until you’ve been in that seat the enormous pressure to please and satisfy everybody. And I think instead of being grateful for where we are and what he has done, we’ve forgotten that we were on the brink of a depression when he took over this office. And as everybody celebrates the holiday season and sits around with their families, regardless of your circumstance, we could’ve had breadlines. How soon we forget that.”

On hoping to be an ambassador: “Nobody’s offered [that] to me in this administration. But I will tell you a funny story. When I was at the Kennedy Center Honors for Tina Turner [in 2005], I was sitting at Colin Powell’s table, and he said that we were in the ambassadors room [a room at the State Department with portraits of ambassadors and secretaries of state]. And I said, ‘Gee, this is really–this is lovely. An ambassador, I think that would be really great.’ He goes, ‘Name your country, baby, name your country.’

The 33-year-old Colombian singer recently picked up a pen to write for a Dora The Explorer children’s book.

According to MTV, a part of the proceeds from the book will go to Shakira’s foundation Pies Descalzo Foundation, a non-profit group that supports children education.

DMX sentenced to One Year In Prison

A little while back I posted a video of Dmx that spoke on not wanting to be behind bars for his birthday..well his wish wasn't granted.. His 40th Birthday is tomorrow Dec. 18th...

DMX is heading back to prison for one year after pleading guilty to violating the terms of his probation.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was arrested on Nov. 18 in Phoenix, Arizona, for using cocaine and consuming alcohol during a performance in an Arizona club and later failing to check in with his probation officer. He was also accused of driving on a suspended license.

He has already served two stints in prison this year. DMX most recently walked free in August after serving 18 days of a 90-day sentence in connection with a reckless driving conviction from 2002. He also served four months behind bars earlier in the year for a previous parole violation charge, before being released in July.

Upon receiving the guilty plea, Judge Christine Mulleneaux, who had previously rejected two requests by the rapper's lawyer to release him on bail prior to sentencing, ordered DMX to serve a year behind bars.

Judge Mulleneaux said, "Substance abuse issues are at the root of this problem ... Your criminal history goes back to 1988. It's going to continue if you don't take care of your mental health."

What is the deal with these rappers and prison? smh...
