Shaquille O'Neal Conducts The Boston Pops
Shaquille O’Neal conducts the Boston Pops Orchestra and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus on Monday (December 20) at Symphony Hall in Boston, Mass.
The 38-year-old Boston Celtics player conducted performances of “Sleigh Ride” and “We Are the Champions” at the show!
“[Celtics PR director Heather Walker] asked me if I wanted to conduct the orchestra,” Shaq told ESPN. “I was like, ‘Seriously, like a real orchestra?’”
“I have a whole new respect for conductors,” Shaq said before the show started. “I went through a rehearsal today, and my arms are shot right now.”
